Saturday, August 29 | 10am-4pm | Trout Lake, WA

Spend a day harvesting & playing with indigo in all its forms and reveling in the magic of blue, from fresh leaf extraction to dips into the famed indigo vats. I will lead you through the process of dyeing a variety of mini skeins either for knitting or embroidery, dipping diverse textile fabrics and printing with indigo pigment. Plus everyone will be able to try their hand at making their own shibori indigo linen napkins. Each participant will receive fresh indigo stalks to take home and a craft notebook with instructions on how to make their own indigo vat so they can continue the experiments at home.

The workshop is limited to 12 participants and the entire fee (less a $15 materials cost) benefits the Mt Adams Institute summer camp scholarships.
