Learn the science between different plants ‘tinctoria’ while exploring the bounty of natural dyes with Julie Beeler at her Trout Lake studio and flower farm, Bloom & Dye. You’ll harvest farm fresh flowers to create bright bold accent colors, play with Japanese shibori techniques to create patterns and dye a linen table runner to take home using large quantities of flowers for a rich color palette.
This workshop benefits the Mt. Adams Institute and raises money for scholarships to attend the Cascade Mountain School. The entire $60 fee, less a $10 materials cost, is donated to MSI.
